The range
Oscar Hunt has a long relationship with the English fabric mill Thomas Mason. Specialising in a mix of both refined classics and more eccentric designs, the mill has had an unwavering commitment to quality for over 150 years and supplies some of the most renowned clothing brands in the world.
What drew us to them especially though was their extensive range, which we now stock in our showrooms. At Oscar Hunt in Australia, regardless of what kind of custom shirt you’re looking for - whether it be a plain white cotton poplin or a bolder Bengal stripe - the chances are that it’ll be in one of the over 700 volumes of textile designs they have in their archives.
The style
Of course, fabric is only part of the process. Once you’ve landed on a preferred cloth, the next step in crafting your unique custom men’s dress shirt is the fitting. Our team of experts take dozens of measurements to ensure that the finished product not only looks great, but that it also feels great.
Following your first fitting, the team will invite you back four to six weeks later for a follow up appointment where you’ll try on the almost-finished product. From here, we make further tweaks to ensure that everything is perfect.
The experience
While having a tailor made shirt from premium fabrics is a luxury in itself, we try to extend this to the showroom experience as well. In addition, your appointment is private, ensuring that you have the time and space to choose the right pieces for you.
